I hope everyone had a fun-filled weekend and a great Super Bowl Sunday! We did! Adrian’s parents came into town on Saturday to spend some time us us and we had a blast.
They arrived late Saturday afternoon and Adrian and I had a little table set up so we could enjoy a little wine and cheese with them.
Adrian’s parents brought the wine and cheese and it was quite the spread! I forgot to take a photo of the food, but trust me, it was delicious! My in-laws always brings the best selection of breads, cheese, fruit, and nuts. Adrian’s father, Armando, is quite the wine expert and I learn something new about the wine we are drinking every time.
Adrian and I really love having “wine and cheese nights” and are talking about hosting some wine tasting parties for our friends. He knows about and appreciates wine much more than I do, but I love the food! It would be a blast!
Sunday
This morning started out with Einstein’s bagels while getting ready for church. Lillian, Adrian’s mother always brings us a lot of bagels when she visits. They’re my favorite!
Church was amazing, as always. I love my church so much. I have grown so much spiritually since I started attending and I have been blessed beyond words by the people I have met there. It’s fantastic!
In Bible class, we are going through The Gospel and Personal Evangelism, by Mark Dever. I highly recommend it! It teaches the importance of evangelism and practical ways to share the Gospel and it has been incredibly relevant to my life.
After church we went to lunch at our favorite Chinese restaurant, Szechuan. It’s definitely the best in Abilene!
It was so nice to see Lillian and Armando! They are wonderful.
I hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday and a good time watching the Super Bowl (or the commercials in my case ) We went to a party at our church! Fun times!
Have a great rest of the weekend and enjoy the rest of the Super Bowl! Go Ravens!!
